In November 2020 the course hosted two European Tour events in consecutive weeks. Callum Shinkwin won the Cyprus Open with a birdie at the first playoff hole against Kalle Samooja; the following week's Cyprus Showdown reset scores after 36 and 54 holes, leaving 16 players in a final-round shootout, and Robert MacIntyre shot 64 for his first European Tour title.

An 18th-century kiln stands in the middle of the 1st fairway, so the club's hole guide advises driving down the right side.
The 8th has an ancient olive press in the centre of the fairway, hidden from the back tees.
The course is built on two plateaux separated by a ravine; the par-3 7th (210 m) carries a 130-metre gorge, and the black tee on the par-5 3rd plays over the canyon.

The course sits above the stretch of coast where Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, is said to have risen from the sea.
The club warns that wind funnels through the ravine on the 7th and can be hidden at both tee and green; the par-3 15th plays into the prevailing wind from elevated tees, while on the 12th it nearly always helps.
The PGA Tour and DP World Tour weeks at this course since 2017.

Every value is shown as recorded in GNN's tour-course research (profiles, championship history, the tour's visits since 2017, stories, details and course changes, each with its sources). A value no source confirmed is left out; nothing is estimated. The light in the room is the sun's real position on the last day of a recorded visit.
