Bro Gård was a royal estate (kungsgård) from the Middle Ages; Count Johan Sparre built the present castle in 1888, and after decades of neglect under KF ownership from 1968 the municipality rezoned it in 2004 and it was renamed Bro Hof Slott for golf and hotel use.
Alex Norén won the 2011 Nordea Masters on the Stadium Course by seven strokes, one of five Nordea Masters the club staged (2010-13 and 2016); in 2019 Bro Hof was named host of the first Scandinavian Mixed, but the June 2020 edition was cancelled because of COVID-19.

The raised 8th green is shaped "like an upside-down canoe", with everything off the putting surface running away into hollows.

The first tee sits to the right of the courtyard with the 1888 Baroque-style castle, designed by Herman Holmgren, behind the player; the course lies by Lake Mälaren.

A value no source confirmed is left out; nothing is estimated. The light in the room is the sun's real position on the last day of a recorded visit.
