Bernhard Langer won the 54th Italian Open at GardaGolf in 1997, the club's first European Tour Open d'Italia, beating José María Olazábal and setting a course-record 64. Afterwards he reportedly said Christ had walked on this grass and left behind a little corner of paradise.
In March 1993 GardaGolf hosted the European Tour's Kronenbourg Open, which Sam Torrance won at 284 (4 under), one shot ahead of fellow Scot Mike Miller.
The 75th Open d'Italia at GardaGolf in 2018 was the first played as part of the European Tour's Rolex Series, and Denmark's Thorbjørn Olesen won it by one stroke from Francesco Molinari.

The Giallo nine (1990) is laid out around Palazzo Tenuta Le Posteghe, the former Villa Omodeo, which housed the Ministry of National Defence of the Italian Social Republic during the Second World War.
The course was built on Valtènesi farmland, mostly vineyards and olive groves, that founders Riccardo Pisa and Giorgio Simonini bought from the heirs of engineer Angelo Omodeo.
The original Bianco and Rosso nines (1986) were designed by the English firm Cotton, Pennick, Steel & Partners together with Golf & Gardens, and the club describes its 27 holes as Anglo-Italian in concept.
The club's address is in Soiano del Lago, but the Giallo nine lies in the neighbouring municipality of Polpenazze del Garda.

Every value is shown as recorded in GNN's tour-course research (profiles, championship history, the tour's visits since 2017, stories, details and course changes, each with its sources). A value no source confirmed is left out; nothing is estimated. The light in the room is the sun's real position on the last day of a recorded visit.
