In 2023 the course staged the Mallorca Ladies Golf Open, the first event of its kind on the island, won by Alexandra Försterling.
The club says Son Muntaner pioneered starting play from two tees at once to keep the course moving without waits.
Kurt Rossknecht designed the course, inaugurated in May 2000 on the Son Vida estate above Palma, with wide fairways and technical greens.
Son Muntaner has received the 59Club Golden Flag for service and course presentation six years in a row.
The PGA Tour and DP World Tour weeks at this course since 2017.
