In 2005 Eduardo Romero, aged 50 and reportedly thinking about moving to the senior tour, shot 62 at the Open de France after already playing nine holes that morning to finish a suspended first round. He went out in 29, and a 30-foot putt on the last lipped out. The record stood alone for 17 years until the Højgaard twins and then Scottie Scheffler matched it.

A value no source confirmed is left out; nothing is estimated. The light in the room is the sun's real position on the last day of a recorded visit.
