Morgado hosted the Portuguese Open three years running, 2017, 2018 and 2019, along with events of the PGA Portugal and the Portugal Pro Golf Tour.
The par-73 Morgado is laid out as a links-style course, with flat fairways and Scottish-inspired bunkers, but sits in inland parkland rather than by the sea.
The course lies in a valley of the inland Algarve between Portimão and the Serra de Monchique, lined with traditional Algarve tree species.

Its par-73 length is offset by generous fairway widths, with the challenge carried by bunkers dotted through the landing areas.
The PGA Tour and DP World Tour weeks at this course since 2017.

Every value is shown as recorded in GNN's tour-course research (profiles, championship history, the tour's visits since 2017, stories, details and course changes, each with its sources). A value no source confirmed is left out; nothing is estimated. The light in the room is the sun's real position on the last day of a recorded visit.
