The course's most unusual feature is the 16th, a walled green almost entirely surrounded by a bunker.
From the championship tee the 3rd needs a 180-yard carry over a lake; five built lakes come into play on six holes, with more than 80 bunkers.
The course lies in a 1,500-acre estate whose 18th-century mansion serves as the clubhouse; the River Nore, popular for salmon fishing, runs through it.
The PGA Tour and DP World Tour weeks at this course since 2017.

Every value is shown as recorded in GNN's tour-course research (profiles, championship history, the tour's visits since 2017, stories, details and course changes, each with its sources). A value no source confirmed is left out; nothing is estimated. The light in the room is the sun's real position on the last day of a recorded visit.
