TPC Louisiana first hosted the Zurich Classic in 2005, but Hurricane Katrina damage that August sent the 2006 event back to English Turn.
In January 2025 the course got 11 inches of snow and closed for four days; New Orleans had not had that much snow since 1895.
In 2017 the Zurich Classic at TPC Louisiana became the PGA Tour's two-man team event, with 80 pairs playing alternate-shot and better-ball rounds.
The course stretches over 250 acres of wetlands along the Mississippi River delta, framed by stands of cypress and oak, about 15 miles from downtown New Orleans.

Pete Dye, working with tour players Steve Elkington and New Orleans native Kelly Gibson, built 106 bunkers - the second-most of any course on tour in early 2025, behind Pebble Beach's 116.

New Orleans averaged 68 inches of rainfall a year over the seven years to 2025, which the GCSAA lists as the agronomy team's main challenge.
The course is on the Audubon Golf Trail and is certified in the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary program, which the club says makes it feel like a private nature reserve.

A value no source confirmed is left out; nothing is estimated. The light in the room is the sun's real position on the last day of a recorded visit.
