On his first visit in 2007 Jack Nicklaus toured the course with Tumba and said he would not change the routing; Tumba died in October 2011, days before Nicklaus's second visit, and Nicklaus pushed the upgrade through, reopening Ullna on 8 June 2013.

In the 2011-13 Nicklaus Design rebuild the old routing was kept, but every surface was stripped, ditches were turned into winding streams, ponds were reshaped and all fairways were sand-capped; shaper Jerame Miller formed the new contours.

The rebuilt course is sown with modern creeping bentgrass blends, the greens with the 007 variety.

Every value is shown as recorded in GNN's tour-course research (profiles, championship history, the tour's visits since 2017, stories, details and course changes, each with its sources). A value no source confirmed is left out; nothing is estimated. The light in the room is the sun's real position on the last day of a recorded visit.
