Chacarra wins in India and takes Race to Dubai lead

Eugenio Chacarra won the DP World India Championship to move to No. 1 in the Race to Dubai, while Jon Rahm's exit from LIV and the future of the league drove the off-course news.
Tournament recap
Eugenio Chacarra won the DP World India Championship, which finished Sunday, Oct. 18. The Spanish golfer has surged late in the season and now sits atop the Race to Dubai standings. The winning score and venue were not included in this week's data, so they are not reported here. The tournament had a delayed middle stretch. Play in the second round was suspended due to darkness with half the field still to finish, and the rounds of Chacarra and Rory McIlroy were among those halted. Patrick Reed was on the projected cut line at that point. No other tournaments, including LPGA events, appear in this week's results.
