- Greg Turner NZL · 279Was in the clubhouse at five under when Levet reached the 18th needing only a bogey six (Golf Today). Levet overcomes final hole nightmare to triumph in Cannes - Golf Today (Wayback Machine copy)
- Sven Strüver GER · 279Hit overhead cables driving at the 18th; birdied with a provisional ball, and officials took more than an hour to rule that the birdie stood (Golf Today). Levet overcomes final hole nightmare to triumph in Cannes - Golf Today (Wayback Machine copy)
