Like many Japanese courses, Narashino has two greens on every hole, a legacy of keeping separate summer and winter putting surfaces. In the 2019 Japan Skins exhibition Tiger Woods pulled his approach at the 4th between the two greens and chipped to the left one, and the 4th was the only hole where the ZOZO field used both greens.

Seve Ballesteros won the 1977 Japan Open at Narashino at even par, one of 37 professional tournaments the club says it has hosted, including the Suntory Open every year from 1974 to 1997.

The 4th hole uses both of its greens in the Zozo Championship on different days; at the 2019 Japan Skins players could choose either, and Tiger Woods pulled his approach between them before chipping to the left green for par.
