Arnold Palmer nicknamed the 667-yard 16th "The Monster" after a triple bogey at the 1960 PGA Championship; Jack Nicklaus famously saved par there in 1975.
In near darkness at the 2000 WGC-NEC Invitational, Tiger Woods hit an 8-iron to within two feet on the 18th, finishing an 11-stroke win.

Tire magnate Harvey S. Firestone founded the club in 1929 as a private retreat for Firestone Tire employees and drove the first tee shot himself when the club opened.
After a fire destroyed the original clubhouse, the club built a 125-foot water tower that still stands as Firestone's landmark.
The South Course hosts the Kaulig Companies Championship, one of the five PGA Tour Champions majors; the club says its tournaments have raised over $30 million for local non-profits since 1984.
Robert Trent Jones Sr. redesigned Bert Way's 1929 South Course in 1960, adding bunkers, ponds and length for that year's PGA Championship; it now plays 7,400 yards at par 70 with 82 bunkers.

The 2nd is the only par 5 on the front nine: all uphill to a three-tier green guarded by four deep bunkers, best played as a three-shot hole.

A value no source confirmed is left out; nothing is estimated. The light in the room is the sun's real position on the last day of a recorded visit.
