LIV Golf Winds Down
LIV Golf is winding down after LIV 2.0 fails to win backing
2.0 was the plan for LIV Golf's next chapter, and it could not get the backing to proceed.
LIV Golf confirmed it is winding down operations, ESPN reported. The league could not get the necessary financial commitment and player support to move ahead with LIV 2.0, and it is now shuttering.
LIV 2.0 depended on two things, money and players. Without both, the league is not carrying on.
LIV 2.0 lacked financial commitment and player support.
Without the commitment and the players, there is no LIV 2.0 and no league.
