LPGA scoring race
LPGA Vare Trophy standings are updated
Every round on the LPGA Tour feeds a single figure, scoring average, and the latest Vare Trophy standings put that figure on the table.
The updated LPGA Vare Trophy standings were published by the Oskaloosa Herald.
The Vare Trophy is the LPGA's award for the lowest scoring average over a season, so it rewards week-in, week-out consistency rather than a single big result.
The Vare Trophy rewards the lowest scoring average.
Each round moves the average, which is why the standings matter long before the season ends.
