What happened at the 1860 Open Championship
On the final green Park faced a 30-foot putt on a bumpy green, and three putts would still have tied Morris.
The prize was the Challenge Belt of red Moroccan leather with silver panels; the silver cost £25.
The Open says only that Park came to "the last hole" facing a 30-foot putt on a bumpy green with three putts still enough to tie, so no hole decided it.
