What happened at the 1998 Weetabix Women's British Open
Sherri Steinhauer opened with an 81, ten strokes behind first-round leaders Brandie Burton and Betsy King, and was looking for flights home before rounds of 72, 70 and 69 produced the biggest comeback in Championship history.
She won with a birdie putt of about eight feet on the 72nd hole that hung on the lip before dropping, as 35-mph winds off the Irish Sea sent scores soaring.
