What happened at the 2000 McDonald's LPGA Championship
On her 40th birthday Saturday, Inkster shot 65 with three closing birdies while the gallery sang 'Happy Birthday', to share the 54-hole lead with Wendy Ward at 206.
Three ahead with five to play on a windy Sunday, Inkster double-bogeyed the 14th and missed a six-foot par putt on the 18th for a 75, then beat Stefania Croce with pars on both sudden-death holes.
