What happened at the 2026 KPMG Women's PGA Championship
Ryu, 10 shots off the lead after an opening 73, holed a 28-foot eagle putt on No. 7 in the third round to take a two-shot lead on the way to a one-shot 54-hole lead over Brooke Henderson.
After storms delayed the final round about three and a half hours, Ryu bogeyed three of her first five holes but saved par at No. 16 and won by two over Ina Yoon, becoming the first player in at least 60 years to win a major after trailing by 10 or more shots after the first round.
