    How this was built

What is included: every Women’s Amateur from 1893 to 2026, newest first: the champion, the club, the final result, and a link to that year's page with every recorded match of its draw.

Where it comes from: the data file behind this room (womens-amateur/data/womens-amateur.json, research collected through October 20, 2026), built from the R&A's records and contemporary newspaper reports. Each row names its own sources on its year page.

What is not claimed: many early draws are recorded only in part; a round the data does not hold is left out, not filled, and rounds the record names but a bracket cannot place are listed under their recorded names. Values found only on Wikipedia are flagged on the year pages.
